Compressed Biogas (CBG) is a clean and renewable fuel made by compressing purified biogas produced from organic waste. The Bio-Gas is purified to remove hydrogen sulphide (H2S), carbon dioxide (CO2), water vapour and compressed as Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG), which has methane (CH4) content of more than 90%. It has similar properties to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and can be used as a green fuel for vehicles and industrial applications. CBG reduces dependence on fossil fuels, and promotes sustainable waste management. It also supports rural economy and utilized as green renewable automotive fuel.
